November 13, 2024 – Columbiana, AL – The Greystone Foundation was honored to present a check for $10,000 to the Shelby County Humane Society as one of our 2024 Charity Partners!
Presenting the check to the Shelby County Humane Society were Greystone Foundation Board Members Fred Drew, Treasurer, and Dale Gorham, IT Director.
On hand to accept the check on behalf of the Humane Society were Saundra Ivey, Executive Directory, and Leah Eagle, Public Relations / Fundraising Manager along with several other members of the staff.
The entire team was so excited to receive the check and Saundra added that it was really going to come in handy just ahead of the holiday season.
“We are so grateful for this donation and it will immediately help us further our mission at Shelby Humane!”
Proceeds for the Shelby County Humane Society donation came from several events including our annual “Groove on The Green” concert and our “Greystone Foundation Charity Golf Tournament” held each year at Greystone Golf & Country Club.
The Shelby Humane Society was kind enough to bring several of their furry residents to our “Groove On The Green” concert in August. They were a HUGE hit, especially amongst our younger concertgoers.
The Greystone Foundation would like to thank our many wonderful and faithful supporters who continually give their time and financial support to so many worth charities.
